Your Questions?
Are Nutriyum blends vegan?
Yes. Both Cacao Love and Surf’s Up are 100% vegan and plant-based, with no dairy, eggs or other animal products. They’re made from real wholefood ingredients like oats, seeds, raw cacao, fruit and pea protein, with nothing artificial, and they’re GMO free and proudly made in South Africa.
How are Nutriyum blends different from a protein powder?
A protein powder is usually a single isolated protein you mix into a shake. Our blends are a complete wholefood meal base: rolled oats, seeds, raw cacao, fruit and spices combined with pea protein, so you get plant protein, fibre and slow-release energy together. Enjoy them as a bowl, blend them into smoothies or bake with them.
How much protein do Nutriyum blends contain?
Cacao Love contains 24g of plant protein per 100g, which is about 12g in a 50g serving. Surf’s Up contains 27g per 100g, about 13.5g per serving. That’s roughly double the protein of plain rolled oats, from pea protein, hemp and seeds.
How do I prepare Nutriyum blends?
Add milk, plant milk, water or yoghurt, hot or cold, and let it stand for 2–3 minutes for a quick protein-rich bowl. You can also blend 2 tablespoons into a smoothie, use it as a base for pancakes, muffins and nutri-balls, or pack a portion to enjoy on the go.
Which Nutriyum blend is gluten free?
Surf’s Up is our naturally gluten-free protein blend, made with gluten-free rolled oats and hemp seed powder. Cacao Love contains regular oats, so it isn’t suitable for a gluten-free diet. If you avoid gluten, choose Surf’s Up.
Do you deliver across South Africa?
